The radio that has turned the whole high end 2.4GHz market on its head, the Aurora 9 is simply bristling with innovative features that have had many users of other brands jumping ship. There really is nothing in this price bracket to touch it. Hitec have been a bit late entering the 2.4GHz market but they have really made an impact with this set!
Beautifully styled the transmitter ergonomics are excellent, with all switches and trims falling naturally to hand. The beautifully smooth sticks (double BB) can be configured for length, tension and ratchet type, and the superb 5.1 inch backlit touch sensitive screen (no more buttons or scroll wheels) is particularly intuitive making programming a breeze. Add to this the fact that this is a telemetry system (basic RX battery telemetry is built in when using the Optima 7 & 9 receivers) then you have a sure winner.
The Hitec Optima receivers are really easy to install and change from model to model too, no satellite receivers and just one simple short BODA aerial (2 with the Optic 9).
