Now you have a choice! The Boomerang has all the excellent qualities of it's stablemate the Arising Star. There is so little to choose between them it is a case of which one you find the most attractive!
The building is as easy as it gets for a newcomer. Expertly crafted from balsa and ply to give a light but very strong airframe, (even the control surfaces are pre-hinged and pinned with leaf pin hinges) and covered in genuine Oracover, regarded the world over as the best covering film available, which not only makes for a durable model but makes repairs a lot easier should these ever be required. The striking colour scheme not only looks great, but aids orientation during those difficult (but rewarding) early stages of learning to fly. When you consider this kit includes wheels, fuel tank, spinner and even the wing bands it is remarkable value for money - you just can't go wrong!

Thinking of choosing the Boomerang 40 as your first R/C Model?
Then congratulations, you have made a great choice! All the trainers in the Airtek range have been carefully chosen to give the newcomer the best chance of success. We highly recommend that you enlist the help of an experienced modeller to check over your aircraft before it's first flight and teach you to fly. Trying to 'go it alone' will almost certainly result in disappointment and can be potentially dangerous. Wherever possible join a club (and take out third party insurance) where there will be experienced modellers at hand to help you through the early stages. For further information please visit the site of the national body for model flying, the BMFA here.
Model flying is a challenging and absorbing pastime, and many will find they become 'hooked' for life. Take care during the early stages and you will be rewarded with a great hobby - the sky really is the limit!
