Our own 'Airtek' range provides the discerning modeller with a motor to suit a wide range of models. The following lists are organised by size, with the smallest first. The core of the Airtek range is broken down into a series of six, the 2826, 2830, 2835, 3528, 3536 and the Pro range. The motor codes are broken down into size, KV and number of turns, i.e. the AK/2826/1800/12T is 28mm diameter, 26mm long, 1800kv rating and 12 turns. Within each series is a range of KW ratings to suit different styles of model, i.e. the lower KW ratings are suitable for driving a large prop for plenty of thrust at low revs, and the higher KW ratings for driving a small prop fast, therefore suitable for faster models.
