Getting orders out to our customers has and always will be our number one priority. With us being short staffed we are finding that dealing with telephone enquiries is having a severe impact on our ability to do this. Whilst under normal circumstances we love talking to and helping you all we have taken the necessary decision to concentrate on internet orders only at the moment (which are 95% of the orders we normally receive). This is a temporary measure which has been further compounded by us now being in a local lockdown. We encourage all to order via the i ternet and of course you can contact us by e-mail.
As always thank you for your support. We know how important hobbies are to many in these difficult times and we will do our best to keep you supplied.
Things are starting to come through but many factories are only just returning on limited staff (and many are still closed some never to reopen). There are still difficulties and delays getting things into the country. We have had to pay a 5x surcharge just to get things here, a huge cost to a small business which we haven't passed on.
Some items we sell are on linked stock systems some of which are not very reliable at the moment. If this causes issues for customers we are dealing with these on an individual basis.
The Royal Mail have done a sterling service and on the whole things are fairly close to normal so there are still delays. Carriers vary but we are having to do more drop offs to depots than normal adding further burdens on our time.
We are getting unprecedented amounts of e-mails many of which are where is my order and when will you be getting this item back in stock etc. Sometimes we are days behind answering these. Please bear with us.
