The big, solid North American Aviation T-6 Texan was a single-engined advanced trainer aircraft used to train pilots of the USAAF and was adapted by many airforces during and after WW2 as an intermediate trainer. Also known in the RAF as the Harvard many full size examples of this iconic aircraft can still be seen flying today.
